MENA shares finished higher on Monday’s trading session. Were Bahraini stocks and Saudi Arabia market settled in the green at the end of today’s session.
Bahraini shares rose on Monday, where the main index BAX gained around 0.50 percent to settle at 1,540.752 supported by the gains in Financials sectors that gained 0.65 percent.
In Qatar, Qatari equities ended today’s trading session in the green, as the primary benchmark QSI rose by 0.20 percent to finish the session at 10,274.15 supported by the gains in Utilities, Energy, and Financials sectors
Regarding oil news, U.S. Crude Oil fell on Monday to trade at 54.61 USD a barrel at 16:40 GMT. Furthermore, Brent prices fell on today’s session to trade at 58.44 USD per barrel at 16:40 GMT.
Saudi Stocks Exchange:
Saudi Arabia's stocks rose on Monday. Saudi Arabia Main index (TASI) surged by 0.74 percent to finish the session higher at 7,971.14 boosted by the gains in all sectors but mainly Consumer Cyclicals, Telecom Services, and Industrials sectors.
In stocks news, Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group Company SJSC was the best performer in the session after rising by almost 10 percent. It was followed by Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company SJSC that rose by more than 8 percent to finish the session in the green.
United Arab Emirates Stock Market:
United Arab Emirates' shares were higher on Monday’s session.
Abu Dhabi equities finished today's trading session in the green, where Abu Dhabi's leading benchmark ADI rose by 0.68 percent to settle at 5,156.01 due to the significant gains in Healthcare sectors that ended the session up by 7.13 percent.
In stock news, Sharjah Group Company PSC was the best performer in the session, after its share rose by 14.99 percent. Meanwhile, Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries PSC was the worst performer after its stock plummeted by almost 10 percent to finish in the red.
In Dubai, the main index DFM surged by 4.77 percent to settle at 2,889.81 supported by the gains in Telecom Services, Financials, and Consumer Cyclicals sectors.
In stocks news, Emirates NBD Bank PJSC was the best performer as the share rose by 14.85 percent, followed by Emirates Integrated Telecom Company PJSC that gained around 6.50 percent to finish the session in the green.
Egypt Stock Market:
Egypt's leading benchmark EGX30 ended Monday’s trading session higher by 1.2 percent or 178.57 points to settle up at 15,110.23 at the close.
In stock news, Orascom Construction PLC surged by 10 percent, while Ezz Steel Co SAE settled down by almost 8 percent to finish the session in the red.
